Processing of Personal Data:

IPRTR processes your following Personal Data through the forms and cookies on IPRTR, and e-mails and calls received from the Data Subjects:

• Identity Information: Name, surname.
• Contact Information: Email address, phone number, mobile phone number, address, etc.
• Client Information: Application and/or registration number of the Data Subject’s intellectual property rights.
• Transaction Information: Information on whether the payment of the client’s instructions has been processed successfully and the amount of the payment. IPRTR does NOT process any credit card and/or debit card information (i.e., card number, expiry date, and security code). Your payment is processed securely through our online payment service provider.
• Cookies: Some data may be collected during your visit to our website, IPRTR. IPRTR may use essential cookies and functional cookies, which are necessary for the operation of our website and the optimization of your usage of our website, and therefore, cannot be disabled. IPRTR may also use analytics cookies which help us to understand your interaction with our website and to collect statistics. • To conclude an agreement: The Processing of Personal Data is required for the conclusion or fulfillment of an agreement to be concluded between parties upon the submission of your instructions.
• To fulfill our contractual obligations: The Processing of Personal Data is required for us to file your instructions with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, and to provide you with all official documents and our updates related to your instructions.
• To fulfill our professional obligations: The Processing of Personal Data is required for us to comply with the legal obligations imposed on our profession (i.e., trademark attorney and patent attorney).

Transfer of Personal Data:

IPRTR may share your Personal Data for the above-listed purposes of data processing with the following persons:

• Our service providers: IPRTR (the responsible firm for the filing of your instructions in Turkey), our accountants, our online payment service provider, etc.
• Official Institutions: The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office etc.

Rights of Data Subjects:

We would like to remind you that as the Data Subjects, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Data Protection Law:

• To learn whether Personal Data is being processed,
• To request further information if Personal Data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of Data Processing and whether Personal Data is being used in line with such purpose,
• To know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom Personal Data is transferred,
• To request the correction of Personal Data that is processed incompletely or inaccurately,
• To request the erasure or destruction of Personal Data,
• To request the notification of the correction, erasure, or destruction to the third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
• To object to the unfavorable result about the Data Subject led by the analysis of Personal Data which are being processed exclusively by automatic means,
• To claim damages for the unlawful processing of Personal Data.
